What began as a rogue Discord server built by directly inviting fellow nerds and gamers quickly revealed a deeper truth—this hunger for authentic, low-pressure connection was everywhere. As our circle expanded across Reddit and Facebook, a grassroots haven turned into a movement.

Today, Queery NC is a North Carolina non-profit with pending 501(c)(3) status, running four regular programs designed to foster genuine community through shared passions. We are actively expanding beyond the screen into in-person gatherings and broader social hobbies, building the inclusive, joyful space we all deserved from the start.
